About Mitch
"Weaver of words, teller of tales, spinner of websites, seeker of grails."*
I've done so many different things in my life that when I list them all, I have a tendency to say, "Yeah, right! How can one person have done all those things?" Strange, but true. I've pumped gas, cleaned tables, driven a truck, and served a stint as a traveling salesman. I've been a computer programmer and data processing manager; purchasing agent and business owner. A small arms expert, I've been a police firearms instructor. I've also trained private security officers and citizens to handle firearms safely.
I presently put groceries on the table and gas in the car working a job I wish I'd discovered years ago. Call me crazy, but I love the airline industry. I'm a CSR for United Airlines. I'll sell you your ticket, check you in, meet your plane when you arrive, and board you when you leave. I also guide the plane into the gate, load and unload your bags, and push the plane back from the gate. I'll even reunite you with your bags if they go astray. If that sounds like a lot to do at one time, you've never worked for an airline at a line station.
I spend my spare time reading, writing, traveling, cobbling websites together, taking photographs, and driving off road with my wife; she's still my best friend after 30 years. I keep coming up with lots of crazy ideas, one of which resulted in this website; I hope you enjoy it.

About Cher
Bit by the doodle bug at an early age, I've been drawing since the time I figured out which end of the pencil to hold. I won my first ribbon for a painting at the age of 8, and for some odd reason, people keep giving me awards.
My childhood years in Minnesota inspired me to draw animals, with wildlife living virtually in my backyard; snapping turtles, raccoons, deer, and wolves all served as unwitting models for my work. A formal background in pre-veterinarian training and a strong grounding in anatomy and physiology helps with the structure and accuracy in my paintings.
Over the years I've had an eclectic mix of jobs. I've worked in a pet store and groomed dogs and cats. I've worked on feature-length animated films, progressing from ink and paint to layout assistant, and finally, because of my knowledge of equine structure, to animation. In the commercial art field I received national and international acclaim, creating award-winning advertising and logo design. I have even worked in law enforcement and studied crime scene investigation.
I've worked for years in the fine art field, starting as an art consultant and progressing to assistant gallery director. I regularly do commission portraits of dogs and horses and I was a member of the Artists Co-Op of Reno for several years. My work is also seen in other galleries and art shows.
When not painting or drawing, you will most likely find me reading a good book, taking pictures of wildlife while "boonie stomping" in my Jeep, or entertaining Yoda, an African Gray parrot who lives with us (and thinks my hubby is a life form lower than pond scum).
